Homemade Pizza Dough

Who needs Domino's when you can have homemade pizza with unlimited toppings?


Here's our beginner-friendly recipe for pizza dough!



* Makes enough dough for 2 pizzas


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 1/4 teaspoon instant yeast (or one packet)

  • 1 1/2 teaspoon white cane sugar

  • 3/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 2 tablespoon of olive oil

  • 3/4 cup warm water

Recipe

  1. In a large bowl, add all dry ingredients.

  2. Add warm water and olive oil.

  3. Knead the dough until everything is combined (you can add more water or flour until you reach a dough-like consistency).

  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover.

  5. Let the dough rest and rise for at least 30 minutes (one hour preferred) in a warm place (you can put the dough in the oven with the light on as well).

  6. Once the dough has risen, transfer it to a baking sheet and briefly knead it.

  7. Flatten the dough with your hands (or use a rolling pin if you have it).

  8. Poke holes in the dough with a fork and add your sauce, cheese, and toppings!

  9. Bake at 350 F for 20 - 25 minutes.
