Next up, we have somewhat of a hidden gem you can find in Fremont - just a couple of blocks away from the Fremont Flea Market. We personally think this town is one of the cutest places in the Seattle area!

You might easily walk past this restaurant because of its unassuming, house-like exterior, but inside you'll find flavorful, authentic Thai food.

What We Order

  • Pad Sweet Basil - Chicken, $10.95 (spice level 1)

  • Pad Kee Mao - Beef, $13.95 (spice level 4)

  • Pad Thai - Shrimp, $13.95 (spice level 4)

  • Ba Mee Haeng - Beef, $13.95 (spice level 3)

  • Tofu Tod, $7.95

The Pad Thai was everything you want out of a Pad Thai - sweety, nutty, spicy, and zesty. The Pad Sweet Basil was simple, but bursting with flavor. We especially liked how there was enough gravy in the dish to eat with the rice. The Pad Kee Mao starts out strong with perfectly textured noodles, accompanied by beef and an assortment of vibrant vegetables, including carrots, broccoli, mushroom, bamboo shoots, and sweet onion. The Tofu Tod was perfection: crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth on the inside. The dipping sauce that came with the tofu was an incredible mix of sweet and sour sauce and Thai peanut sauce! We absolutely loved it!

We decided to try something new with the Ba Mee Haeng. Unfortunately, this dish was a bit of a disappointment - the ingredients and flavors were imbalanced, and the dish itself seemed like a warm salad.

Cons

The service here was a bit disappointing. The waitress seemed annoyed when we asked about the lunch combo option on the menu and threw our receipts on the table when we asked for a copy. Moreover, the beef was extremely tough and difficult to eat.

The Final Score

Ultimately, we would give this restaurant an 8/10. The service was not the best, but we did like the flavor of the food very much. Ultimately, we would suggest doing takeout from here instead of dining-in and perhaps avoiding the beef option when ordering an entrée.

Let us know if you give this place a try and what you ordered! We'd love to try something different next time!
