Lemon Olive Oil Cake

Try this delicate and moist lemon olive oil cake to upgrade your tea time!

Ingredients

• 1 cup of all purpose flour

• 1/2 cup of sugar

• 1/2 teaspoon of salt

• 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda

• 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder

• 1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil

• 1/2 cup of milk

• 2 large eggs

• 1 lemon zested

• 1 orange zested

• 2 tablespoons of lemon juice

• Powdered sugar for topping

Recipe

1. Pre heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-inch pan with butter.

2. In a medium bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients with a whisk.

3. In a small bowl, mix together all the wet ingredients.

4. Put wet ingredients in dry ingredients and combine until the batter is smooth. Try not to overmix.

5. Add the lemon and orange zest to the batter. Mix again.

6. Add the batter to the pan and bake for 30 minutes.

7. Enjoy with a cup of tea!
