Cinnamon Swirl Coffee Cake

Give our cinnamon cake a try when you're craving something from Cinnabon! It's easy to make and won't make a dent in your wallet!

Ingredients
Cake
2 cups of all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 large egg, at room temperature
2/3 cup of white cane sugar
1/3 cup of vegetable oil
1/3 cup of plain yogurt
2/3 cup of milk
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Cinnamon Sugar Filling/Topping
1/2 cup of white cane sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
2 tbsp brown sugar
Pinch of nutmeg
Recipe
Preheat oven to 325 F and grease a 9 inch cake pan.
Mix together ingredients for the filling/topping and set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a medium bowl, beat egg and sugar until combined. Add in oil, yogurt, milk, vanilla extract and whisk.
Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix until combined (being careful not to overmix).
Pour half of the batter into prepared cake pan. Sprinkle the top of the batter with the cinnamon sugar filling, reserving 2 tbsp for topping.
Pour and spread the rest of the batter. Sprinkle the top with the rest of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
Use a butter knife and carefully swirl the batter by making a figure-eight motion.
Bake for about 30 minutes or until cooked through.
